Kusal Mendis and Sadeera Samarawickrama scored centuries despite facing the terrifying Pakistan bowlers.  At one point, it looked like the score was ticking towards 370, but Pakistan bowlers restricted the Lankan middle order at the end.  With immense confidence from their first win against Australia, the Men in Blue took on Afghanistan in their second encounter at Delhi. Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. Despite the early blows, the Afghani middle order kept the scoreboard ticking and gave India a 273 target to chase. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan opened the batting for India and provided the much-needed momentum.  The Indian skipper hit a magnificent century and broke several records.
