Cricket World Cup 2023 Sri Lanka vs Pakistan Updates

 Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium witnessed one of the highest-scoring matches in the World Cup so far. Batting first, Sri Lanka made a whopping 344 in its 50 overs. Kusal Mendis and Sadeera Samarawickrama scored centuries despite facing the terrifying Pakistan bowlers. 


At one point, it looked like the score was ticking towards 370, but Pakistan bowlers restricted the Lankan middle order at the end. While chasing, Pakistan played with positive intent and chased the target comfortably. Opener Abdullah Shafique and No. 4 Muhammad Rizwan scored centuries that navigated the team to a brilliant victory. This is the highest chase in the World Cup history. With back-to-back centuries, Pakistan is all geared to face India this Saturday.
