Both the teams have started well in the tournament and displayed brilliant performances. Rajasthan lost their third game but bounced back in style and won their previous game. After three back-to-back wins, Gujarat suffered their first loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last outing. However, both the teams have won three games out of four and earned 6 points. While with a better run-rate Rajasthan seized the top spot, Gujarat is placed in the fifth position. A fight between two evenly matched teams, today's contest between Rajasthan and Gujarat will be an absolute entertainer.



Gujarat Titans' batting is much dependent on Shubman Gill and skipper Hardik Pandya. Matthew Wade's form at the top is a concern for the Titans and they expect a top-class innings from him. Inconsistency at the top is indeed a matter of concern for captain Hardik, and he would like his batters to take responsibility. Along with Pandya, Abhinav Manohar played a responsible innings against Hyderabad. Rahul Tewatia played one of the memorable innings of IPL against Punjab last week. With Mohammed Shami, Rashid Khan, and Lockie Ferguson, Gujarat have world-class bowlers in the squad. If batters rise to the occasion and build much-needed partnerships, Gujarat is unstoppable at the moment.

Rajasthan Royals has a perfect mix of batters and bowlers in the lineup and is enjoying a fantastic campaign this season. Despite the top order failing to score runs, ShimronHetmyer hit a whirlwind 59 and helped the team pose a decent score on the board in the previous match. Rajasthan bowlers are right on the track and successfully defended a paltry total. Chameera has been phenomenal with the ball, and Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi are chipping at the right time. Rajasthan and Gujarat will fight an exciting battle for the top spot on the points table in today's game.
